All Together Now International supports charitable programs that not only address material needs, but foster self-sufficiency, cooperation and community. Our focus is on programs that enhance the health, education and welfare of children,provide education, health care and economic support for impoverished women in underdeveloped countries and that provide health care to those who do not have access to such services
We are currently involved in Nepal, Tibet and India.
Spinal Surgery In Nepal:
We are currently raising funds to provide spinal surgery in Nepal through the construction of a surgery facility near Kathmandu. A substantial amount of capital is needed for this project, but it will allow large numbers of indigent patients to be treated for complicated conditions.
Medical:
We help with onsite medical care and in the most desperate cases, we coordinate the patients travel and specialized medical care and surgery in the USA.
School:
Many displaced and orphaned children live on the streets of Katmandu, Nepal. These children, who are often runaways from slave-like conditions in carpet factories, suffer from disease,malnutrition and neglect, but will now have a chance to have a roof over their heads, consistent food in their stomachs and an education.
We work closely with Rokpa International, an organization that oversees the intervention work and schooling of street kids.
Rehabilitation and Training:
We help people in Nepal with leprosy through rehabilitation and training.
Earthquake Relief:
Funds are applied to rebuilding homes in the Gujarat area of India destroyed in the recent earthquake.
The Volunteers Program:
We support ongoing charitable work by Nepali organizations and our own projects which are staffed by Nepalis and volunteers from the USA and Europe. Skills are matched to the appropriate project and volunteers must be willing to cover their own expenses of travel, food and lodging.
